Recently, we’ve seen some teases with a key member of the Monday Night RAW women’s division. Alexa Bliss has been acting oddly, with an old persona creeping back into her head. She’s teased hitting Sister Abigail, a clear call back to her time together with Bray Wyatt – which is a time that Bliss looks back on fondly.
Alexa Bliss Never Had More Fun Than Working Alongside Bray Wyatt
While speaking with BT Sport’s Rob Armstrong on the What Went Down podcast, Bliss had a chance to reflect on the time she spent alongside Bray Wyatt in WWE during the Thunderdome era. Bliss was quoted saying the following.
“This was the most fun I’ve ever had in my entire career. The most fun I’ve ever had in my entire career, I can easily say, was this time period. I’ve never had more fun in my life.”
Going into the origin of the gimmick, Bliss would note she’s wanted to work a darker character since her time in NXT.
“I had pitched a character like this, Dark Alexa, way back in NXT, before Blake and Murphy. I’ve always loved doing something different. I don’t like being the same character all the time. I remember, I’ve looked back, and I was like, ‘Man, I’ve been like six or seven different versions of myself,’ which was so fun. I love being able to portray a character. I love being able to go outside of the box, do different things, and this was the most fun.”
A 2023 Reunion Isn’t Out Of The Question
Given the recent return of Wyatt to WWE, it’s not impossible that we see them reconnect at some point in 2023. Right now, Wyatt is focused on the Uncle Howdy storyline, and is currently feuding with LA Knight on Smackdown Live. We’re expecting to see the payoff for this storyline at WrestleMania, and with the WWE Draft currently set to follow WrestleMania – there’s a chance Bliss & Wyatt reconnect then.
