Two of the teams leading Super Junior Tag League meet in a massive match here tonight. SAUCEHEARTS come in with 10 points, while Ace Austin & Chris Bey have 12. They’ve both shown dominance and near perfect teamwork all tour, and this might be the final chance for anyone to stop Austin & Bey from booking a spot in the finals. A win for Alex Zayne & El Lindaman would give them a crucial tiebreaker over Austin & Bey, making this perhaps the most valuable match of the entire tournament.
BULLET CLUB Look To Isolate Lindaman
Zayne & Austin would kick this match off, only for Austin to instantly tag out to Bey. A yank to the beard of Zayne would follow, before Lindaman got the tag and hit a few arm wrenches. Bey hit a knee to the mid-section, before tagging in Austin. A scoop slam would be followed by a running double stomp, but Lindaman was stopped from a top rope dive by Bey.
Bey would keep the pressure on Lindaman with some measured punches to the head and a vicious rake to the eyes. Austin would choke Lindaman in the corner, before a gutwrench suplex into a leg drop for a two count. Northern Lights Suplex would get another near fall, before Bey would be run down with a forearm smash. Lindaman would try to make the tag – but Austin pulled Zayne off the apron.
A Russian Leg Sweep combo would be followed up by a standing moonsault, getting another near fall. Lindaman would be hit with the Three Amigos, before being able to set up a dropkick to the back of Bey’s head. Zayne would finally get the tag and threw strikes with Austin, only to have Bey get involved as well. He’d take both down with a hurricanrana – before the front flip kick to the back of the neck.
El Lindaman Ensures Alex Zayne Doesn’t Fold
Zayne would go after the boot of Austin, causing him to flee from the ring. Lindaman would springboard off the back of Zayne onto Bey & Austin, but was unable to follow up. Bey & Austin would sandwich the head of Zayne with knee strikes, before Austin hit the Soar To Glory. Back in the ring, Zayne would hit an Avalanche Frankensteiner to Austin, before a German Suplex to Bey – with Bey landing on Austin.
Baja Blast would land, getting a near fall. Kumigoroshi from Lindaman landed, and Zayne tried to go for Cinnamon Twist – only for Bey to stop him with a kick. A Torture Rack neckbreaker from Bey was enough for a two count, before BULLET CLUB set up a double superplex on Lindaman. Instead, Zayne would take them down with a powerbomb – with Lindaman caught in the madness.
Austin would try to outstrike Zayne, and nearly was hit with the Taco Driver – but slipped free and hit The Fold. Lindaman broke the pinfall up and hit the German Suplex, allowing Zayne to slip into the Jacknife Pinfall for the victory. This puts them to 12 points alongside Austin & Bey, Catch 2/2 and Titan & BUSHI.
