The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, put on a Spider-Man costume in a shock video communication in an attempt to console grieving military kids.
Prince Harry Dresses Up As Spiderman To Console Grieving Military Kids
He wore the comic book hero outfit and only took off his mask to uncover his bona fide character toward the finish of a specially recorded message for the children at Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity for orphans of British forces kids and adolescents.
At the Scotty’s Little Soldiers’ annual Christmas celebration, which was themed around heroes and villains, they showed the video with a message from Harry.
In the said video, Harry said: “Christmas is a time when we miss our loved ones really, really badly and that’s OK. But at the same time, it can be possible to feel guilty for having fun without our parents.
“But I am here to assure you that our parents always want us to have fun, OK? So don’t feel guilty.” The kids were informed that villains were attempting to ruin Christmas by taking and hiding away Santa’s gifts.
To protect the festive season, they had to complete challenges in order to defeat the evil-doers and recover the presents. Jamie Small, who was 14-years-old and only 8 when his dad, Cpl Christopher Small, passed away in 2016, declared: “This isn’t just a person from a small village.
“He’s someone people all over the world know and he has taken the time to record a special message for us, which means a lot.” The fans on social media, though, had a different take on the matter.
A certain subset of people began to troll Harry regardless of the fact that he was attempting to give back to a cause that was close to him. One person wrote: “How disappointed would the kids have been that it wasn’t Tom Holland behind the mask.”
While another person stated: “This is just embarrassing and more importantly, how does this relate to these kids. I mean, really. How does it?”
