Prince Harry has brought attention to the difficulty and anguish experienced by female members of the British royal family when they joined by marriage, in a preview for the much-anticipated documentary series created by the Sussexes.
Prince Harry Gets Emotional Over ‘The Pain And Suffering Of Women Marrying’ Into The Firm During Second Trailer Of Netflix Docuseries
The first instalment in the series is going to be released on Thursday, 8th December 2022, which marks three months after the demise of Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
And as part of that process, Harry can be seen speaking as some footage of his mother, the late Princess Diana, emerges as he says: “The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy.
“I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself. No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.” This trailer arrives on the back end of the initial one that was released to mark the series.
Recently, Harry and Meghan Markle revealed private pictures which had not been seen before, and a few of them showed the duchess with a tearful expression.
Equally, in the latest trailer, one of the images showed Harry with his head thrown back and Meghan seemed to be wiping away her tears with both hands. With that being said, there are many explanations for this as the current trailer showed.
One commentator could be heard saying the following: “It’s about hatred. It’s about race.” The response on social media, though, was very condemnatory.
A significant proportion of people were of the view that the Sussexes were coming across in a bad manner since they were complaining about first-world problems in comparison with the rest of society.
One person wrote: “Two of the world’s most privileged people whining about how their privileged life just isn’t privileged enough.”
With the docuseries set to air this week, it promises to reveal a lot. But whether Harry and Meghan come out of it with their reputation intact is anyone’s guess. Time will tell.
