NXT is known as WWE’s development brand by fans, I think that some of the wrestlers wouldn’t look at it the same way. Looking at wrestlers like Tyson Kidd and Mandy Rose that got career and character rebirths after spending time in NXT, who could use this treatment on the main roster.
Why Should Dolph Ziggler Return to NXT
Dolph Ziggler is known amongst many wrestling fans as a great in ring worker and a great performer. He makes anyone he wrestles look great, he puts in a lot of work no matter who he is in the ring with, and he clearly care about his physique which is something that I don’t think is taken as serious in today’s wrestling.
Lately, we haven’t heard much from Ziggler past a few losses on Monday Night Raw. For someone as talented as he is, its crazy to think that WWE don’t have anything for him to do.
If no other reason but to get him on television, I think that NXT would be great for him. There are a lot of younger guys down there that could use him to help out.
There is a lot of talent on the roster but Dolph helping iron out their kinks in ring would be great.
What Would Dolph Ziggler Do in NXT
This wouldn’t be Dolph’s first time going to NXT and having matches or a storyline. He even won the NXT World Championship in his little time down there.
Upon coming back, I think that he would obviously be a main eventer. I don’t think that you would have to put the NXT Championship on him, but he shouldn’t be counted out as champion because who he is.
If he went back to NXT, I would give him some type of group in order to maximize the amount of people that benefits from his star power. Maybe an upcoming singles star and a new tag team.
After this, I could see him feuding with a babyface Apollo Crews for the Championship, Carmelo Hayes who I think will be NXT Champion after WrestleMania weekend, and many more.
