Ethan Page has not been a happy man starting 2023. He would be defeated by Bryan Danielson, and is not even able to keep control of his underlings in The Firm – namely Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen. Tonight, Page gets a chance to let some of his anger out – as he goes one on one with ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry. Perry was recently involved with two other Firm members, teaming with HOOK to defeat Big Bill & Lee Moriarty, giving Page even more motivation tonight.

Ethan Page Gets Caught With Flash Pinfall

Page would look for the Ego’s Edge as Perry was still making his entrance, only for Perry to slip free. Sending Page to the floor with a hurricanrana – before Isiah Kassidy was used as a human shield from a dive. Page would waste time arguing with Hardy at ringside, before taking a second dive from Perry. Back in the ring, Perry would avoid the Iconoclasm Slam out of the corner and hit a dropkick, before Hathaway would grab his foot.

Page would take advantage with a back elbow – sending Perry tumbling to the floor. Perry would be thrown up into the air to crash face first off the apron, before driving him into the barricade. Page would follow up with a backbreaker in the ring, before taking a kick to the face – and sending Perry to the floor with the following lariat. Perry would fight from the ground with strikes, rising with each strike before being thrown head first into the ring post.

A heavy handed chop would follow, with Perry folding. The press slam would see Perry dropped to the mat, with Page in complete control of the match. A hammer throw into the corner would put the status of Perry’s back in question – and a crossbody would almost be caught into a bodyslam. Page would stop Perry from a dive before hitting the Iconoclasm, maintaining wrist control and pulling Perry right up into a powerslam for a near fall.

Trying to mock Matt Hardy, Page would look for the Twist Of Fate – but was unsuccessful. Perry hit some punches in the corner, before finally taking the Twist Of Fate. HOOK would ensure Hardy didn’t get involved, and Perry blocked a roll up for the win. After the match, Page called for JungleHOOK vs. Page & Hardy for AEW Dynamite.

Eddie Kingston Turns On His Longtime Friend

Last week on AEW Rampage, Eddie Kingston & Ortiz would fall to the Kings of The Black Throne in team action. This came after a miscue from Ortiz & Kingston, which further drew a wedge between the longtime friends. Tonight, we will hear from Kingston & Ortiz – as we find out what’s going on between them.

Tony Schiavone would ask Ortiz was is happening with him and his friend Kingston, saying that House of Black got in his head. Kingston was going to hit Julia Hart with a steel chair, which in their world is not something you do. He’d call Kingston to the ring – who came with a steel chair. Ortiz & Kingston fought before – but Kingston swinging a chair at Hart, is that how his parents raised him?

Coming to the ring with a chair for Ortiz? This isn’t Kingston. What would their mentor Homicide say? That Kingston was a coward. A fake tough guy. Without a word, Kingston would hit Ortiz in the ribs with the steel chair, and walk off with a violent hop in his step.

Will Eddie Kingston realize the error of his ways? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
