Prince Harry Admits Killing 25 Taliban Members-‘He’s Foolish And Unprofessional To Publicize His Role’
The royal, who was commonly referred to as ‘Captain Wales’ in the army, stated that he did not consider them as individuals, but rather as chess pieces he had removed from the game.
In his personal memoir, the Prince expressed that he had partaken in six operations which involved the demise of other people. In his book, Harry wrote: “You can’t kill people if you see them as people’ and said he instead saw them as ‘chess pieces removed from the board’… ‘bad guys eliminated.”
After Harry had obtained the knowledge and ability to pilot Apache helicopters, he was sent to Camp Bastion in the south of Afghanistan, where he stayed for five months.
During his deployment, he provided air assistance to the International Security Assistance Force and Afghan forces in the Helmand region.
Reports of the amount of foes Harry had taken out could spark alarm over his safety due to his royal rank and connections to the armed forces.
This is in the midst of an on-going fight with the Home Office to give complete police protection to the Duke and his family when they visit the United Kingdom.
The lawyer for Harry said he ‘does not feel safe’ when he is in the UK, as he no longer has taxpayer-funded protection after he and his wife Meghan Markle renounced their royal obligations.
The fans on social media slammed Harry for disclosing such a thing. This was on the basis that it made him and other soldiers come across in a negative light.
One person wrote: “True soldiers would never ever publicly reveal information like this,” while another person stated: “He’s foolish and unprofessional to publicise his role.”
