Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may be becoming desperate to hold onto her son given how her relationship with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) has taken some hits lately.
The wakeup call was Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) telling her they may not be able to work together, but we doubt she took that or his advice as intended.
While he told her to get some self help books to help her let go of her hatred for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) or else, we suspect she’s going to try and fake it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers would love to see her realize the unhealthy and dangerous obsession she has with Diane needs to stop, but this is Phyllis.
She’ll promise Daniel that she’ll work on herself while trying to figure out the next step to strike at Diane.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) have been there for each other through thick and thin lately, and it looks like they’re going to continue growing closer.
While it’s pretty obvious they’re heading for another try at a relationship, we think it’s a bit hasty to jump to that conclusion.
We think they’re still rebuilding things between them in some ways, and they’ll continue working on their friendship before anything more crosses their minds.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 24: Not the same
Relationships can be a tricky thing at times, and for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that’s never been more true.
And now that Devon’s desire to buy back his company has been denied, he’s going to have to find another avenue for his buyer’s remorse.
That may come in the form of an argument as he and Lily will try to find common ground as siblings and business associates.
We’re sure there’s going to be a few potholes along the way, but we hope they find a way to work through this and Devon learns to not be so controlling.
