Sarah Ferguson’s recently posted photograph on her Instagram page, shortly after she had celebrated Christmas with the other members of the Royal Family, was not welcomed favourably.
Fans Slam Sarah Ferguson’s Inappropriate Outfit For A Book Signing
Reportedly, the snap was taken before Christmas and captures her getting out of a vehicle in New York City, where she had a work commitment. Sarah put on a trendy, dark green mini coat with a cape, a small black dress and black lace-up boots.
She added a flower-shaped pin and a set of gold hoop earrings. The post was captioned by the following comments: “On my way to sign books.”
The royal was headed to a gathering to advertise her next novel, A Most Intriguing Lady, which is slated to be released in the beginning of 2023. This new book is the continuation of Her Heart For A Compass, which was published in 2021.
The royal selected the same outfit, resembling a combat jacket with an unbuttoned neckline and golden zipper, to wear for a book signing in Budapest at the beginning of this month, in a similar fashion. In another image here, we can see that Sarah is signing her books.
The post included the following words: “It brought me overwhelming joy seeing all of your lovely faces at the Libri bookstore in Budapest, where my book made number 3 on the bestseller list.
“Her Heart for a Compass is out now at the link in my bio.” Despite this being the case, the fans on social media had a lot to say about her attire. A certain subset of people felt it was not suitable for promoting a book.
This was on the grounds that she came across in a negative light and rather tasteless. One person wrote: “What is she wearing… looks inappropriate.”
