Impact World Championship Full Metal Mayhem Match – Josh Alexander (c) vs. Bully Ray
This match opening the show is a little surprising given the build, but it’s also going to be a great statement match for the night and we’re ready to get into it.
Bully snuck into the back after his intro, and he jumped Alexander from behind as he came out with a steel chain, and held the title high before he laid Alexander out with it.
While Josh was checked on, Bully went to work by putting a table into the ring before the bell could ring, and then he tore at Alexander’s face, which was already busted open.
Bully set up the table, and went after Alexander and threw him into the ring.
The ref refused to start the match until Alexander told him to, and Alexander ate a splash and was powerbombed through the table for a near pinfall in what could’ve been a fast win.
Bully kept pounding on him with the title belt and pulled out a cheese grater and some chairs for more fun and games.
Alexander caught Bully with a right and dropped him, then hit an elbow off the ropes and threw the broken table out of the ring.

Bully was busted open and Alexander set a trash can up in the ropes and nailed Bully with a trash can lid.
Back in the ring, Alexander grabbed the cheese grater and ran it across Bullly’s face to chants of “ECW!”
In response, Alexander pulled out a black bag from under the ring and emptied the thumb tacks onto the ring mat.
He went for a C-4 Spike, but Bully slipped free and headed for the ramp where Alexander beat him with a chair and then choked him out.
Alexander put Bully on a table at the top of the ramp, and climbed up the large ladder that was set up. Bully got up and tipped the ladder back to send Alexander into the ring and onto the thumb tacks.
Help’s on the way
Alexander fought out of a Bully Bomb and hit a German Suplex and a clothesline before Alexander hit a rolling senton into the tacks and headed to the top rope with Bully’s chain and wrapped it around his knee for a knee strike and a near pinfall.

Alexander hogtied Bully with a chain and locked in a ankle lock, but Hotch and Skylar came out to beat down Alexander and the three of them hit a 3-D into the tacks for a pin attempt.
They grabbed a couple of tables and Bully set one up in a corner while Alexander was zip tied to the ropes.
Tommy Dreamer came out and took out Hotch and Skylar and confronted Bully. Bully gave him the trash can. But Dreamer hit him instead of Alexander, so Bully drove him through a table with a shoulder.
Alexander’s wife came into the ring and Bully made her beg him not to hurt Alexander but she hit a low blow instead and followed it with a bulldog and cut Alexander loose.
She set Bully up for a chair shot and Alexander put him on a table and headed back up the ladder to put Bully through the table with a splash for a near pinfall. He locked in an ankle lock for the submission.
