Palace staff who declared that Meghan Markle had mistreated them are apparently maintaining their narrative, a royal reporter has suggested.
Meghan Markle Is A Bully As Palace Staff Refuse To Back Down From Their Claims-Says Valentine Low
Valentine Low, writer of “Courtiers: Intrigue, Ambition, and the Power Players Behind the House of Windsor,” claimed palace employees who have stated that they had been bullied by the Duchess of Sussex are remaining steadfast to their words.
In his comments, he said: “The people I spoke to are absolutely still sticking to their story, claiming that Meghan bullied them.
“I can’t speak to the truth of that, of course, because I wasn’t in the room and I haven’t heard Meghan’s side, but my sources still very much stick to their story.”
Just a few days prior to the 2021 interview of Meghan and Prince Harry with Oprah Winfrey, news of the alleged mistreatment of their staff was released. This report stated that the Duchess was accused of making people cry while living at Kensington Palace.
Furthermore, it was said that two senior staff members had been forced to resign due to the bullying. This was confirmed by Jason Knauf, the couple’s communications assistant, in 2018.
While that may have been the case, the findings of an inquiry into the allegations of bullying was not published on the basis that Buckingham Palace wanted to protect the privacy of those involved.
And yet, at the time, the official complaint was very serious: “I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year.
“The treatment of X* was totally unacceptable. The Duchess seems intent on always having someone in her sights. She is bullying Y and seeking to undermine her confidence,” Knauf recalled.
