The world’s strongest man, sexual chocolate, or whatever you want to call him, Mark Henry is a legend and someone who played a part in one of my favorite times in wrestling. Here are Mark Henry’s moves of DOOM!
World’s Strongest Slam
This is a basic move that Mark Henry made look dominate. While this is a move that you see every day, Mark Henry is one of the wrestlers that make this move look the best.
He basically picks his opponent up sideways across his chest and slams them to the ground with a lot of force.
Mind you that Henry is close to 400 pounds of muscle. He actually won an Olympic medal for powerlifting, so Henry doing this move adds a little more to it.
DOOM Score: 3 out of 5
Running Splash
Another simple move, and there is little that can be done to make this move look good. It is what it is.
Run off of the ropes, jump into the air, and do a splash. The running splash look painful because of Mark Henry’s size, but the move has never defeated anyone. If it has, the opponent might have been enhancement talent.
While there isn’t much that can be done about this move, it isn’t Mark Henry’s fault. Maybe it is for not choosing a better signature move but that’s it.
DOOM Score: 1 out of 5
Military Press Slam
There a lot of wrestlers that do military press slams but Mark Henry did it much better. How can someone lift someone over their head and throw them down better than anyone else.
Simple. When Mark Henry was active and doing this move, he was doing it against other heavyweights closer than himself in size.
Today, the move is done, but it is usually the big guy doing it to much smaller guys because the rosters are much more diverse, size wise, than they used to be in the late 90s to early 2000s.
Mark Henry made the move look easy. Some other people who did this was Lex Luger in his prime, Hulk Hogan, and Goldberg.
