Harry And William Call Each Other ‘Willy And Harold’ As The Duke Of Sussex’s Memoir Exposes The Fiery Prince Of Wales
In a segment from Harry’s upcoming memoir, Spare, he recollected the time he was physically assaulted by his brother.
Reports from royal insiders recently indicated that the book could be quite critical of his brother, potentially making it difficult to mend their relationship.
With that being said, it is alleged that there was a heated argument in 2019 at Harry’s London residence, in which William reportedly labelled Meghan as ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’.
Harry blamed his brother for merely repeating the media’s viewpoint about his spouse before an argument broke out and resulted in a physical fight.
When they began discussing Meghan Markle, Harry maintained that William was not being reasonable, which resulted in a loud argument.
In his book, Harry wrote: “Willy, I can’t speak to you when you’re like this. He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast.
“So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me.”
The Duke stated that he would not take revenge and that William went away, then came back appearing remorseful and offering his regrets. When William left for the last time, Harry attests that he stated: “You don’t need to tell Meg about this.”
Harry replied with: “You mean that you attacked me?” William then allegedly said: “I did not attack you, Harold.” Harry mentioned he did not initially tell Meghan about the altercation but phoned his therapist.
The response on social media was damning. This was on the grounds that Harry came across as though he was whining. One person wrote: “Harry needs to grow up.”
