With two major companies in the United States both looking at the same talent, WWE and AEW has nearly depleted the indie wrestler pool. While one company has a working agreement with Impact, the other look at them as someone who could cultivate future stars for them. Here are three wrestlers from Impact Wrestling that WWE should sign.

    Ace Austin

From the time that I saw Ace Austin wrestle a match for the X Division title, I thought that he is someone who would fit into NXT perfectly.

He has solid charisma and would add a lot to the North American title picture. While I don’t think that he should have any hopes of ever becoming NXT champion before he gets called up to the main roster, I think that he would provide a lot of value to the roster as a whole.

Ace is still young and still have room to grow and things that he could do to make his matches more ready for primetime.

In the short time, I could see Ace Austin in programs with Wes Lee, Apollo Crews, and Dragon Lee when he debuts.

Long term, I could see Ace on the Monday Night Raw roster. He would be somewhere in the United States title picture. I think that he has a high chance of winning it, but his value would be more as a solid worker than as a champion.

    Johnathan Gresham

One of the best technical wrestlers in the world, Johnathan Gresham is a veteran that would be useful on any roster.

Of course, he would go to NXT first and there is a high chance that he would stay there. Something tells me that Gresham would think that he deserves to be on the main roster and to be a major champion, but I am not so sure.

I think that he should probably be a lifer in NXT and that isn’t a bad thing. Of course, he would always be at or near the top of the card and he would even get a NXT championship run or two.

I think that he might be in the same spot that a Roderick Strong is in. Strong, like Gresham, is someone that is more valuable helping the younger guys out than being in the spotlight themselves.

Gresham also suffers from the same thing that Strong and a lot of former ROH wrestlers suffer from and that is lack of personality. Sometimes, wrestling is so important to them that the other part of wrestling is neglected and in the case of Gresham and Strong, it could possibly cost them a shot at the big time.

    Moose

This is someone that WWE should have made efforts to sign a long time ago. He has great size, a great look, can talk on the mic, he looks menacing, and he is much better in the ring than he was when I first saw him wrestle.

While I don’t see Moose being the future of the company by any stretch, I think that he could be a big player.

Of course, like everyone else, he would come through NXT. While he is there, I think the he would for sure win the NXT Championship.

Afterwards, he would go to the main roster where I could see him as a constant in the United States or Intercontinental title picture and eventually get a WWE World title or two if he plays his cards right.

I don’t think that he will ever be in the position of a Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, or Cody Rhodes where he might carry a whole brand on his back, but I can see him being a big player for them for a long time.
