Audiences have commended Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, for hosting a Christmas Eve carol service in Westminster Abbey.
Kate Middleton Praised For Her Christmas Eve Carol Service-‘A Faultless Programme’
King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, Kate, Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended, but Prince Louis was absent.
The Royal Foundation backed the service, which featured a performance of Away in a Manger sung by Ukrainian youngsters who had managed to flee the hostilities in their homeland.
The kids, who were requested to play by the Princess of Wales, won the admiration of the audience. Kate also recognized Inna Hryhorovych, the principal at St Mary’s Ukrainian School, for displaying an extraordinary level of care for her students.
In the event, Ms Hryhorovych was presented with a letter from Kate in which she expressed her gratitude towards the educator for the attention she gave to the families and pupils going to the school. And at a time where people are struggling, this sense of unity resonated with the people at home.
After all, the Christmas festivities allowed people to put things into perspective. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
One person wrote: “The Princess of Wales arranged a faultless programme that was clearly thought through with love to do our beloved late Queen proud – from the carols, readings, etc the lovely festive vibe was palpable.
“It truly captured the spirit of Christmas. My favourite was the pianist and our beloved late Queen’s image projected on the piano.”
Despite this being the case, not everyone was convinced. A certain subset felt that the event could have gone down a whole lot smoother. So much so that they questioned if there had been enough planning.
And in the process, the comments were very brutal indeed. Another person stated: “Pass the bucket i need to puke after seeing this adams family.”
