The latest episode of AEW Dynamite was one of the best of 2023, with a packed house in Phoenix, Arizona reigniting fan interest in All Elite Wrestling once again. However – it wasn’t just AEW Dynamite that the fans bought a ticket for, with content taped for next Monday’s episode of Dark: Elevation and tomorrows episode of AEW Rampage – and the full results can be found below.
Dark: Elevation Features Konosuke Takeshita, Athena & Powerhouse Hobbs
Dark: Elevation was taped before Dynamite went to air, with 7 matches taped – with the following results.
- Emi Sakura defeats Michelle Riviter
- The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) defeats Aguila Aguirre & EJ Sparks
- Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir & Diamante defeats Brittany Brooks, Miss May and Mazzerati
- Powerhouse Hobbs defeats Daniel Evans
- The Firm (Matt Hardy, Ethan Page and Isiah Kassidy) defeats Ice Williams, Braxton, and Watson
- Athena defeats Danielle Kamela
- Konosuke Takeshita defeats Lee Johnson
Reports from the arena noted a lot of fan support for Powerhouse Hobbs – potentially setting him up for a big push following AEW Revolution. Many of the local names were involved in the segment between Bryan Danielson & MJF – dressed as security guards.
AEW Rampage Pushes The Story Forward Towards The Elite & House of Black
While Dark: Elevation is a show that only the most hardcore AEW fans follow, Rampage is where the bigger matches were taped – with some major storyline progress ahead of Revolution.
-
- The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) defeat Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis)
Following this match, the lights would go out with House of Black appearing around the ring. They would stare down The Elite, before the lights went out again – leading to House of Black vanishing. Their match with The Elite is expected to be made official soon.
-
- Toni Storm defeats Willow Nightingale
- Lance Archer defeats Bryce Saturn
- Sammy Guevara defeat Action Andretti
After the match, Chris Jericho would demand Andretti calls him daddy. Jericho would take a kick and DDT, and Andretti would take pictures with fans at ringside.
