Lately, we’ve seen Eddie Kingston fall into some old and destructive habits – with the mind games of House Of Black putting him in a dark place. He turned on his last remaining ally in Ortiz, smashing him in the back with a steel chair. The likes of Jon Moxley and Pentagon Jr. have all but ignored Kingston, and that just added to his frustrations – and now it’s Kingston vs. Everyone once again.
Eddie Kingston Addresses His Enemies
Taking to Twitter to vent his frustrations, Eddie Kingston would have the following to say.
“Please understand if anyone likes someone I don’t like that is fine. I have my reasons and there is a lot of backstage stuff on why I don’t like certain people. Again I’m not judging them, I just don’t want to be around then. But also I like to talk shit so maybe I can fight them in or out of the ring.
Yes I am a emotional king so I am still learning how to deal with shit. But again when Tony is done protecting certain “pillars” let’s see if they are as great as he thinks. Again folks there is a lot of inside baseball you don’t need to know so just watch the shows and understand I truly and honestly will do whatever the fuck I want and force certain cowards in wrestling to make a move or get the fuck out the way.
Again when they are done being protected. I stretch one “pillar” granted I lost (Surprising I know) but at this point in my career I just want to fight. Fuck a belt fuck a win I just want to see fear in the eyes of the boss favorites. And then smile back at the hotel room knowingly win or lose in the ring I mentally win,”
Kingston would follow this up with a direct shot at MJF.
“Side note since we need to see his world champ 3 times within a hour and a half when it is a two hour show. Fuck Ortiz, fuck House of Black and fuck the roster. Born alone die alone – I tried. I don’t need anyone including Mox and Penta. Fuck everyone. Especially the “pillars “
Kingston Uses Twitter To Push His Storylines
It is worth noting that Kingston mainly uses his Twitter account to push storylines in AEW. While there could be some reality to his feelings here, this is mainly just his way of continuing his current storyline without being featured on TV this week. The recent heel turn of Kingston doesn’t feel like a long term storyline, and him calling out MJF perhaps gives a clue to the future plans.
Given the vast differences in styles and presentations of Kingston & MJF, they could well make for a perfect storyline in AEW later this year. Kingston has been viewed by some fans as the man who should finally strike down MJF, and be the Dusty Rhodes to MJF’s Ric Flair, the common man taking down the rich and arrogant heel. We will have to see how things pan out however, and what comes next for Kingston.
