The black-and-white photo shows Ripley whispering to the 57-year-old. Foley included the following caption:
SECRET MEETING? Looks like @rhearipley_wwe is sharing some serious info with the #HardcoreLegend in this photo. Could #JudgementDay be looking for a new member?… I never did hard time like @dominik_35 – but maybe I still have the pain and experience to offer… Waiting to hear back from @archerofinfamy on whether or not I have been accepted, but I’m staying positive about my chances!”
Damian Priest replied telling Foley to submit a presentation, so maybe there’s interest? Perhaps there’s a manager slot open in Judgment Day? What’s interesting is that Foley is following this young faction and veterans still paying attention to the product and taking interest is a good sign.
Sure, Mick Foley was only joking but could you see the Hardcore Legend as a manager or non-wrestling associate of Judgment Day? Would it be an interesting twist considering Edge and Foley had a hellaciously hardcore match at WrestleMania 22?
