Royal expert Kinsey Schofield has revealed that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, might be considering reviving her former blog, “The Tig”.
Meghan Markle Might Bring Back Her Blog ‘The Tig’-Says Royal Expert Kinsey Schofield
After Markle began her romantic relationship with Prince Harry in 2017, her lifestyle website, which she had created three years prior and named after the Italian wine Tignanello, was closed down.
It was meant to be a platform to showcase her interests in food and travel, along with her personal musings. In 2019, paperwork was submitted to the United States government by the business manager of Meghan Markle, which gave her ownership of the website until 2021.
This led to rumours that the duchess was going to restart her website. Nevertheless, a representative of the palace made it clear that there were “no intentions” to bring back ‘The Tig.’
While that may have been the case, Kinsey had a different take on the matter. In her comments, she said: “I believe Meghan is planning on relaunching ‘The Tig’ in February.
“I think ‘The Tig’ perfectly aligns with Meghan’s ultimate objective, which seems to be being an influencer rather than a royal.” This may have some substance in more ways than one.
Meghan’s recent project, her Archetypes podcast, won her the 2022 People’s Choice Award for a podcast which suggested that there was some demand for it. And in the process of doing so, she knocked off Joe Rogan from the Spotify top spot.
In addition, Meghan had been absent from the promotional tour of Harry’s memoir, Spare. This may be due to the fact that she is focusing on her solo projects. And that is why February could be the time to do it for Meghan.
Kinsey added: “Valentine’s Day is a special date for Meghan as it was the day the Sussexes announced their pregnancy Lili. It was also the day Princess Diana confirmed she was pregnant with Prince Harry.”
