Royal expert Duncan Larcombe has expressed surprise that Prince Harry has become the first royal to publicly share an account of when he lost his virginity.
Prince Harry’s SEX TALK Was A Shock-‘Isn’t This The Guy Who’s Declared Himself As A Staunch Feminist,’ Says Duncan Larcombe
In his captivating tell-all book, Spare, Harry recounted how an older woman initiated him into the world of sex.
It came to light that the woman was Sasha Walpole, and the two were reported to have been together in an open field behind a crowded pub in Wiltshire in 2001, during Walpole’s 19th birthday.
But given that Walpole came out so publicly to talk about it, Harry has set a precedent with his revelations. In his comments, Ducan said: “[It] was surprising in the book the way Harry talked about it – like it all was some big joke, and like a chapter of a Jilly Cooper novel.
“Isn’t this the guy who’s declared himself as a staunch feminist? It has to be one of the first times in modern royal history where the kiss and tell has been done by the royal.”
Much in the same way, Sasha was also shocked that the Duke of Sussex had talked about this. This is especially since he has been very vocal about media intrusion and the right to his privacy.
So much so that Sasha admitted that it was not the finest moment since they were drunk. In addition, she was unaware that Harry was a virgin.
In some prior comments, Sasha remarked: “I don’t understand why he went into such detail. He could have said that he lost his virginity and left it at that.
“He has done this to my privacy because I was going to keep my head down and not talk about it.” It was not Harry’s finest moment, but now that he has put it out, there is no way of taking it back.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
