Monday nights have some great heels on the roster. The magic part about these heels is that they are so easy to hate and are great at their job. Here is the top heel on WWE Monday Night Raw
Dominik Mysterio
Ex Con Dom, Dominik Mysterio might be the first wrestler in WWE that gets the most improved superstar of the year and top heel of the year in company history.
Dominik went from being the most boring babyface on Monday Nights to one of the most hated heels in WWE today. He is just such an easy person to hate. From his transformation to his promos, he has come a long way.
Dom is still a work in progress in the ring, but on the house show loop, they’ve been having him work in the ring with Butch, so I think that they have big plans for him later on down the road.
I really love how they have been letting him grow in front of our eyes instead of sending him away and letting him hone his craft. Although he is a heel that is really beatable by any babyface on the roster, I think that he is going to be a huge deal very soon down the road.
Bayley
The woman that held down the Smackdown women’s division during the Thunderdome era, Bayley is great because she is a known commodity.
For someone who was at one point in her career, thought to be the female Daniel Bryant, Bayley made a seamless transition into being a heel. Her Karen gimmick is great.
She has been able to show more personality on the microphone and in ring, she became more aggressive. Even though I don’t think that her feud with Bianca Belair was that good, I still think that anyone that is involved with her somehow become more interesting.
At the moment, she is kind of in a limbo situation, but I think that she will be back on top sooner than later.
Austin Theory
The only Monday Night Raw champion on either one of these lists, Theory is the number one heel on the brand. It is very hard for one person to make almost everyone, face and heel, hate them.
There are so many potential challengers for not only the United States Championship, but for Austin Theory no matter whether he keeps the US title or not.
At one point, late last year, fans were screaming that his career was done and he was getting buried and he is at the top of Monday Nights now.
Theory’s rise has been rapid. He has been the focal point of Raw for months and I think that he will stay champion for a long time. The next step in his evolution would be for him to do something to make him more interesting as a character.
