At NXT Vengeance Day, Gallus was able to walk out of the Fatal Four Way match for the NXT Tag Team Championships as champions. Both Pretty Deadly & Chase U have not taken the loss very well, and tonight they get a chance to work out their frustrations in a match. Pretty Deadly haven’t slept in days, yet will still lace up their boots to try and avoid a Chase U sized ass kicking. Before this match, Thea Hail would go missing – but Duke Hudson felt she could handle herself.
Pretty Deadly Fight To Find Their Lost Confidence Following Vengeance Day
Pretty Deadly did not clean up for this match, with Prince taking a shoulder tackle from Hudson as the bell rang. Prince would hit a weak chop, before being driven face first into the turnbuckle and sent to the floor. Wilson got the tag alongside Chase, getting tripped up for an elbow drop before being rolled around on the mat for a series of pinfalls.
Pretty Deadly would ask “what’s the point” as Wilson tried to leave the match only to get beaten down. They’d get a moment of offence, and it returned their confidence – hitting a running leg drop and splash. Hudson would look to shut this confidence down with some big strikes, and the sidewalk slam.
Prince would send Hudson to the floor with a low bridge, before Wilson flew off the apron with a back elbow smash. Back in the ring, Pretty Deadly kept the pressure on with a tight rear chinlock. Hudson fought back only to take an elbow smash to the back of the neck. Chase got the tag and hit some Manhattan Drops, before working to apply the Figure Four Leg Lock.
Prince helped Wilson free, only to take a DDT. Pretty Deadly would hit some tag team offence on Chase, only for Hudson to send Wilson to the floor. Chase hit Prince with the Russian Leg Sweep and Chase U stomps – as Thea Hail would rush to ringside yelling “THEY’RE COMING FOR ME”, having broken away from Ava Raine. Back in the ring, Chase fell to Spilled Milk – as Hudson tried to comfort Hail.
Bayley Returns To NXT For First Time In Three Years
At NXT Vengeance Day, we saw Toxic Attraction implode during their match against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. They tried to work together, but the allure of singles glory would have them fighting tooth and nail – and things ended with Dolin sent through a table and Jayne taking an Avalanche Pop Rocks. Now, tonight they won’t have much of a chance to rest, as they’re the special guests of Bayley on a rare Tuesday episode of Ding Dong, Hello!
Despite being beaten down by Becky Lynch last night on Monday Night RAW – Bayley was more than happy to come to NXT for this special episode of Ding Dong, Hello! She’s a big fan of Toxic Attraction, only for Dolin & Jayne to continue their bickering. They blamed the loss on each other, trashed each other’s gears, and Bayley asked if they ever considered their plans after splitting up.
Both would give vague answers like ‘shoot to the top’ and Bayley offered the advice that it’s easier to climb up with a ‘ride or die’. To have someone to back you up, someone to trust. Toxic Attraction would get along for a moment – noting they have two options. Split and go alone, or go on one more run. Maybe for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships held by Damage CTRL.
Toxic Attraction hugged it out, before Jayne nailed the superkick. She would make her choice, and threw Dolin into the door before some more hard strikes. Dolin would sob on the mat – and Jayne might have just had her level up moment.
