AEW Star and Producer Arn Anderson Shares That His Eldest Son Barrett Has Passed Away at 37
Barrett Lunde’s death comes in the wake of late ROH star and Class of 2022 Hall of Famer, Jay Briscoe. Following Briscoe’s death, his brother Mark would join AEW. Prior to that, there was the death of Kevin Nash’s son Tristan which caused concern for the WWE Hall of Famer’s well-being after some sarcastic remarks about coping with the 26-year-old.
Coupled with the deaths of wrestlers and the family of wrestlers were some health scares among older wrestlers such as Jerry Lawler, Barry Windham, and Billy Graham. However, the death of someone who was still young will always come as a surprise.
Arn Anderson didn’t go into detail about Barrett’s cause of death but what isn’t a mystery is the pain of a parent having to see their child off before their time. The Overtimer offers its condolences to the Lunde Family.
