After the release of their Netflix documentary, Harry has been busy promoting his tell-all memoir Spare. Meanwhile, Meghan has remained out of the public eye.
By taking this course of action, the Duchess of Sussex is benefiting while her husband, Harry, faces criticism for his contentious statements regarding the Royal Family.
In his comments, Bower said: “Meghan, the person that really fired up this whole crisis, is absent. She is sending Harry out to fight her battles while she stays in obscurity.
“She’s using him to fight her enemies: the Royal Family.” Harry faced criticism from both American and British audiences due to his media campaign.
In a recent survey conducted by Redfield & Wilton, it was revealed that his popularity had decreased after the release of his memoir, Spare, and the Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.
The survey asked 2,000 eligible voters in the United States to rate their level of liking towards the Duke, after the release of his memoir.
According to the results of a poll, the Duke of Sussex’s popularity rating, which was previously at a positive level of +38 on December 5, has drastically dropped to a negative score of -7.
Recent polls conducted by Redfield & Wilton in Britain also revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s popularity has declined even further. The polls indicate that the Duke’s net approval rating has fallen by 37 points since November, now standing at -22.
This comes after a previous poll by a different company showed that his favorability score had dropped from a high of +38 to -7 on December 5th.
Meghan’s approval rating has decreased by 31 points, resulting in a current rating of -33. And this sentiment was reflected on social media.
One person wrote: “Of course she sends out H to do the dirty work, heaven forbid that she would want to be seen as the bad person. To late Meagain, that boat has already sailed.”
