Hollywood has chosen not to embrace Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because they have not demonstrated etiquette which is expected.

That is according to royal expert Kinsey Schofield. Following the publication of Harry’s tell-all book, Spare, and the release of the Netflix docuseries, the level of admiration for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex saw a sharp decline in the US.
The pair had expected they would be welcomed in Hollywood, but Harry’s accusations against the Royal Family have caused them to take a different path than they had intended.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not asked to attend any of the 2023 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) events, and it appears that they were excluded from the 2023 BAFTA Tea Party too.
In her comments, Kinsey said: “I do think that Harry and Meghan expected more support from Hollywood than they have recently received.
“I think Harry and Meghan had an amazing opportunity to elevate themselves and actually be Hollywood royalty, but their decorum is making people think twice about the association”.
Those comments do hold some weight for the following reasons. First of all, the Sussexes were not present at Oprah’s 69th birthday party. This was despite the fact that the couple had used Oprah for their controversial interview following their exit from the firm.
Secondly, actress Rebel Wilson also admitted that when she met Harry and Meghan, the former was very pleasant, while the Duchess of Sussex was not very warm.
And this was also reflected in the comments that followed on social media. One person wrote: “They can’t be trusted to keep their vile mouths shut.
“Not surprised they’re shunned by everyone,” while another person stated: “Well they have thrown everyone under the bus. Her family..his family.”
