Royal specialist Kinsey Schofield has stated that Prince Harry has put himself in a predicament with no real winning outcome about attending King Charles III’s Coronation.
Prince Harry Has Put Himself In A Tough Place Over Attending Charles’ Coronation-Says Kinsey Schofield
People have been speculating if the Duke of Sussex will be at King Charles’ coronation. Reports have indicated that the couple have been invited, but there are question marks over their attendance.
The ceremony is on the same day as Archie’s fourth birthday. In addition, given that the couple have been so vocal about the firm, their attendance could backfire.
During their last royal engagement when they visited for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, the pair were booed when they exited St Paul’s Cathedral for the Service of Thanksgiving.
It has been reported that prior to making a decision, Harry wants to hold a meeting with his father and brother, due to the fact that he was unhappy with the “toxic” environment at the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
With that being said, Harry is not in a good position. In her comments, Kinsey said: “If Harry shows up, he will be criticized. If Harry does not show up, he will be criticized.
“The minute we notice his absence… we’ll accuse him of being a coward who couldn’t face the family that he has spent years trying to tarnish. He’s in a tough position.”
Despite this being the case, if Harry does attend, the monarch may have a chance to put the rift to bed once and for all. The monarch did wish Harry and Meghan the best with their lives overseas in his first speech to the nation.
So a return is not out of the question. Kinsey’s following comments confirmed as much: “Harry should be welcome to attend and sit in the back if that is what King Charles wants.”
