WWE Smackdown Results returned as the contract signing for the Intercontinental Championship is about to begin.
On his way to the ring, Sheamus talked about how Drew McIntyre betrayed him to get the opportunity and really played on how he helped Drew to get into the business and now he gets to smash his face in.
Drew called Sheamus out for being too sensitive and can’t separate personal from business, and he’s beaten Sheamus and can beat GUNTHER, and history shows Sheamus can’t.
Pearce tried to keep the peace and urged them to sign, so they did.
Then it was GUNTHER’s time to come out and he demanded Pearce to justify his decision for a triple threat match.
Of course, GUNTHER signed without waiting for an answer and was then jumped by Butch afterwards.
GUNTHER vs. Butch
GUNTHER demanded a match against Butch after his attack, and it was granted. They wasted no time in going at it with GUNTHER using his size and power to take the early advantage.
Butch attempted to use some joint manipulation, but GUNTHER locked in a Boston Crab for a few seconds, then switched to a crossface.
GUNTHER continued to maul Butch and let him drop onto the ring steps and floor after choking him out in the ropes.

Butch countered a clubbing blow by snapping GUNTHER’s fingers, but it didn’t last long as GUNTHER slapped on a sleeper and Butch had to get to the ropes to break the hold.
Not feeling any effects, Butch sent him to the floor where GUNTHER sidestepped Butch and he took out Drew.
After a brawl broke out on the floor, GUNTHER hit a clothesline and Last Symphony for the win.
After the match, Sheamus and GUNTHER stood face to face when Sheamus sidestepped and Drew took out GUNTHER with a Claymore.
The Usos strike
Kevin Owens wasted no time in introducing Sami Zayn as his guest on the KO Show to the loudest pop of the night.
They got into a friendly disagreement over how to come out, and Owens laughed at Zayn wanting his own pop and he got it.

Zayn talked about how this year’s WrestleMania feel different than past years, and Owens agreed and said he has something for Zayn.
Owen gave him a KO Mania shirt with WrestleZaynia on the front, citing that Zayn’s been the top star in the WWE for the last year.
Zayn wasted no time in putting the shirt on and insisted on a hug, and Owens gave in. The Usos attacked them from behind and hit a double superkick on Owens, then a 1-D on Zayn.

They took off when Owens grabbed a chair with their message sent.
This was a fun moment, though it felt a little out of place overall with the triple threat match feeling more like a main event moment.
