On April Fools Day, a book that parodies Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare” will be released, including references to “frostbite” and other elements.
Parody Of Prince Harry’s Memoir Set To Drop-‘Laughing Stocks Worldwide’
The front cover of a book called “Spare Us! A Harrody” depicts the face of a prince with tape covering his mouth. One of the disclosures made in the spoof biography pertains to Harry’s description of his distressing encounter with frostbite.
According to him, the frostbite affected his ears, cheeks, and genitalia after he walked 200 miles in the Arctic as part of a charity initiative.
The book also satirizes Harry’s contradictory approach of revealing his life story in his own book while simultaneously striving for privacy.
In an official statement by the publishers, Hachette, the following statement said: “In order to get the privacy he so craved, he has written a frostbite-and-all book that goes deep inside the castle walls and exposes every shouting match, fist-fight, betrayal, teddy bear, awkward hug and tear-stained wedding rehearsal for the world to feast their eyes on.”
In a recent episode of South Park, the Duke and Duchess were ridiculed for wanting to go on a global tour of privacy. The show also poked fun at Prince Harry’s book, Spare, by satirizing it as Waaagh, and referred to Meghan as a “victim”.
The depiction of the characters was enjoyed by many of their critics, who enthusiastically embraced the rumors that legal action might be taken against the show, which was then later denied.
The cartoon portrays a clear distinction between the Royal couple and the rest of the family, and even includes a reference to Harry’s frostbitten genitals.
The couple in the cartoon, resembling Harry and Meghan, abruptly left an interview when the host made the following remark: “Well, I just think some people might say that your Instagram-loving b**** wife actually doesn’t want her privacy.”
The social media response was one of ridicule. Large numbers of people began to make a running joke out of the whole situation. And in the process of doing so, the comments were very brutal indeed.
One person wrote: “The “gruesome twosome ” are going to be laughing stocks worldwide for years to come …..I love it.” It is safe to say that this was not the couple’s finest moment.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
