Royal expert Kinsey Schofield has claimed that Queen Consort Camilla is in complete agreement with King Charles III’s strategy to deal with Prince Harry’s continuous attacks on the Royal Family.
Camilla Supports Charles’ Approach To Harry-Says Kinsey Schofield
Schofield believes that Camilla does not desire revenge on Harry, despite the fact that the Duke has made scathing remarks about her in his memoir, Spare.
And as part of that process, Harry accused Camilla of using the media in order to portray herself in a positive manner. Not only that, but he went so far as to state that Camilla was a villain.
In his book, Harry wrote: “She was the villain, she was a third person in the marriage, she needed to rehabilitate her image.”
Schofield was questioned if Camilla’s involvement led to the eviction of Harry and Meghan from their Frogmore Cottage. However, she rejected the idea that Camilla’s influence had any impact on the decision made by the King.
In her comments, she said: “If King Charles asked Camilla to weigh in on the decision… she would support him fully. But Camilla is not a vengeful person. She is logical, peaceful and strategic.”
Much in the same way, according to commentator Shannon Felton Spence, the Queen Consort has refrained from involving herself in the King’s plan and has allowed him to take charge of the family’s response.
This is understandable since Charles does have a lot to contend with. He is currently gearing up for his Coronation that is set to take place on Saturday, 6th March 2023. With that being said, there are question marks over whether or not Harry will attend the Coronation.
In addition to this, since Charles is not the most popular monarch, as shown by the two egg-throwing incidents towards him, the monarch may need to exert more influence.
Spence’s following comments confirmed as much: “I heard months ago that Charles put a line in the sand about what the book would say about Camilla.
“I don’t think Camilla has any need to put the Sussexes in their place. It is the King who cares.” Clearly, the monarch is keen on stamping his authority. And time will tell how Charles deals with the Sussexes moving forward in the future.
