On the night of Thursday, 27 April, 2023, the soap opera actress, celebrated her nomination for Guest Performer in a Drama Series at the upcoming 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. During the event, she caught up with Michael Fairman on his Daytime Emmy Nominations Special, and it was then that she confirmed her return to GH as Heather Webber.
She even joked about sipping Mai Tais with Anthony Hopkins on some island far away. If you are wondering what to expect from Heather’s return to Port Charles, Mills refused to share some details.
She said, “I don’t know what the story is going to be.” Fans will have to watch and see. Mills went on to express her excitement about her nomination, saying that despite all her years on TV, this was her first being nominated or even considered. The 73-year-old described it as a “cool end-of-life thing.”
During her last appearance on the show, things were heating up for Heather. She was taken to her daughter, Esme’s hospital room, and she was really happy to see her grandchild.
However, Esme warned her biological mother that she would never set her eyes on him, so the woman was dragged out of the hospital room in cuffs. After she came out, Heather unleashed her wrath on Laura and Spencer. She accused PC’s mayor of filling Esme’s head with lies and blaming her for how everything went wrong.
Before she was taken to prison, she promised that it was not over yet. There is also the chilling letter that Esme received from her Heather, that left her terrified. Heather is definiely bringing some drama back to Port Charles.
