‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Things are going to get interesting in Genoa City with some choices made in this character building episode, and we’re looking forward to seeing just how sideways things will turn out.
Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, May 25: Decision time
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has never been one to play it safe or small ball, so now that word that she’s alive is starting to get out she’s going to meet up with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier).
This should be interesting given Summer’s fully on her side, and that makes us wonder if she’s going to lay more sob story manipulation on Summer or if she’ll come clean?
To be fair, we don’t think Phyllis set out to manipulate her daughter, it’s just the result of her self-sighted selfishness to get her way. She can spin it anyway she wants, everything she did was about her and her hatred for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
And not that she’s seeing others paying the price for her misdeeds, “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think she’s going to tell Summer she’s turning herself in.
Summer won’t agree with the decision and cite how they can figure this out, but Phyllis has had time to think and she’ll want to end things.
Of course, we’re probably wrong since she never gives up, but at the same time, there really is no other alternative.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, May 25: Higher ground
When it comes to a fight, few things are more precious than having the higher ground. But in Devon Winters (Bryton James)’s case, he’s going to take it to avoid a fight.
At least, we think so.
We’re guessing he’s going to cross paths with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), who is becoming a little too bloodthirsty for his own good, and words will be exchanged.
The fight will start about Nate hurting Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), but it’ll be about a whole lot more. In the end, Devon is happy and looking forward to his future so he won’t make the same mistake and punch Nate.
Instead, he’ll simply walk away and leave Nate wondering what just happened. It’ll be an interesting turning point for them as Nate will be given the opportunity to look at himself and determine if he’s truly happy with the man he’s becoming.
As for Devon, he’ll feel content he did the right thing, which begs the question is there a potential issue on the horizon that’s going to test Devon’s newfound happiness?
