‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers love nothing better than starting a new week off with plenty of tension, and boy are we in for some fun.
There’s so much that could go sideways in this episode that we’re stocking up on extra tubs of popcorn just to be ready for the fun to come, and there’s going to be some revelations that aren’t going to go over too well.
Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, June 5: Going on the attack
It looks like Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) being innocent of murdering Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will push Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) over the end as she’ll put her plans into motion.
This should be pretty interesting as Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is the level headed one here and has been urging her to start her own company with him instead of tearing her family apart, but she won’t listen.
Her hate is too strong, and like Phyllis she’s on the precipice of doing something that’ll ruin her life. The difference is Tucker’s going to stand by Ashley and try to guide her down the right path, and protect her if she doesn’t listen.
In the end, he may be the one that undermines her attempted coup of Jabot, since that’s the only way she can see protecting Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) from being happy and content in life.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, June 5: That escalated quickly
Ashley won’t be the only Abbott entering into a type of war as we expect Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to demand to know why Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) has been lying to him about Phyllis, and things will escalate from there.
This could be “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers fanciful dreaming, but we can see the argument spilling downstairs as Kyle tries to call the police with Summer on his heels badgering and begging him not to.
Of course, there’ll be an audience there as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will soak it all in.
Nikki will want to intercede to smooth things over and find out what’s happening, and we think Victor will be more willing to sit back and observe.
It should become clear pretty quickly that Phyllis is upstairs, and that will give Victor every excuse he needs to make his own calls and see to it that Phyllis is dealt with for causing so pain to Summer.
Phyllis has reason to be worried about him, and now things could really become complicated for her.
Will Ashley pull off her coup or does she have something else planned for Diane and Jack? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
