‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s plenty of action coming to Genoa City and we’re stoked to see how some confrontations will play out in the long and short term.
Let’s get to the good stuff!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, June 8: Added stress
Now that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has threatened Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), he’ll try to project an air of calm and promise Cameron will heed his words and leave Genoa City.
Of course, he and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will know better and they’ll start preparing for the worst until Cameron is caught and neutralized.
One thing that’s different this time around is it’s not just them they have to worry about Cameron coming after, but their daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).
The fact Cameron already made contact with her will have them worried, and “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect them to be ultra aware and protective of her, especially after her cat was killed.
Which means she’ll leave the house without them knowing for some reason or they think she left.
Time to cue the horror movie music and lightning flashing for ambiance.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, June 8: The end of the line
It’s safe to say that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier)’s marriage is toast after she repeatedly lied to him and let his mom suffer in jail to protect hers.
If it’s not yet, it will be over when he tells Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s hiding place.
Summer will take this as the ultimate betrayal since it’ll mean Phyllis will actually have to face the consequences of her actions to frame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) instead of getting off with a slap on the wrist.
Of course, we doubt Phyllis will be there since she’ll be expecting Kyle to turn her in and the chase will continue.
Phyllis may surprise us though and be waiting for Christine and the police. She may realize there’s no way she can worm out of this without facing some kind of punishment, and she may finally be done hurting her kids to protect herself.
However this turns out, we’re sure it’s going to touch off a few other fires and conflicts between Kyle and Summer that we won’t want to miss.
Will Phyllis face the music or take off? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
