‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re all set to get a new week started and we have plenty of weekly spoilery goodies to go around.
It looks like it’s going to be a fun week as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could get to the bottom of Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth)’s problem.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is going to have a serious case of depression and self pity after learning he can’t walk, and he’ll try to save Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) the problem of dealing with him.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Curtis in on the edge
It’s not uncommon for people to feel like they’re a burden when something tragic happens like losing a limb or the ability to do something, and it’s what Curtis is going to be dealing with now.
He’s not going to want to be a burden on Portia and bring down her quality of life, and that’s understandable. Misguided, but understandable.
Curtis has always been independent and able to do anything he put his mind to and now he has to deal with the possibility of never walking again.
That’s a blow that would leave anyone shaken, and he’s going to need Portia and other help to get through this so he can begin the next phase of his life.
At least it’s not a debilitating or life threatening disease or infection yet. They’ve had more than enough of those lately.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Caught in the middle
Ava’s never been one to be pushed into doing something, but right now there’s not much she can do with Mason Gatlin-Holt (Nathanyael Grey) pushing things along with a new nanny.
Of course, it’s not helping her that Sonny’s guard is up since someone has taken shots at him at least once, and the wear is going to start showing on her.
“General Hospital” Spoilers expect these to be fun scenes as Sonny will be on point when pointing out Ava’s scared, but it’s the fact that she’s scared of him and what he can do that’s going to be the focal point.
Like she’s told Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) numerous times, it’s best to be honest with Sonny early on instead of continuing the lie. It’s always easier said than done, but now she has the opportunity to come clean and fill him in on how she and Austin are being forced into this situation.
