‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers are ready to close the week out in style, and it’s going to be an interesting one as we set the stage for a new week.
Nothing like some confrontations and a new challenge to put us in the mood for what’s to come, and this should be fun to see the different angles play out. Let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, July 21: Victor gets the win
It’s not rare that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets what he wants, but in this case it may not work out like he hopes.
While Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) convinced Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to join them, there will be some issues to be hammered out.
Adam won’t be happy he lost the autonomy he was promised, but this time he’ll have backup as Sharon and Nick will stand behind him when he demands at least a few months of control over the company.
Victor will give in to his and Nick’s demand since he’s forcing his children to work together, but “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect there to be some contention since their company and Newman Media have similar departments, but Victor won’t budge.
We think this will come back to bite him down the road, but he’ll be happy he thinks he squashed his children’s free will for the moment.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, July 21: Summer’s on the attack
This should be interesting since Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) still has hopes of saving her marriage. After all, she only has to get Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor) to understand it’s his mom’s fault for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) going over the edge.
Sounds ridiculous every time we hear it, and that’s the real sad part for Summer.
But she’ll look to get some measure of revenge by throwing darts at Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) for seducing Kyle away from her because no one would ever think of leaving or turning on her of their own free will.
Audra will give as good as she gets and Summer will continue to spiral and we’re not seeing a happy ending for her for a long, long time at this rate.
It’s just a question of how far she’ll be allowed to fall until the writers give her an easy out, but maybe this time they’ll let Summer and Phyllis crash and burn for their choices and have to build themselves up.
That would be a pretty cool story since we like redemption arcs, but that’s a long way away.
Will Victor regret his meddling this time or will things work out in his favor? Let us know below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
