‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be a fun episode with plenty of twists and turns and we’ve got a couple of buckets of popcorn at the ready. So without further ado, let’s dig in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, July 24: Diane resigns!
In another move that’ll continue the Abbott family war but save Jabot, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will throw herself on her sword and resign from her position within the company.
This will come after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) returns from New York with news that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) can take her patents through a loop hole that says she needs cause.
Of course, Ashley will say the cause is Diane, but Jack will be intent on protecting her and won’t let her step down.
That’s when Ashley will come in and the siblings will get into a heated argument over the company and how Ashley’s trying to destroy it and her family.
This will be a fun scene as Jack will be fed up with her antics and tell her she can have her half of the company, and Ashley will be all pleased that Jack caved.
This is when “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect Diane to step up and resign against Jack’s wishes. She’ll hope it’ll help stop the fighting, but we doubt she’ll be that lucky.
While it should stop Ashley from taking her patents, Ashley will view it as another way for Diane to try to take the company away from them.
At some point someone needs to sit Ashley down and point out to her Diane may have saved the family legacy while she was content to destroy it just to spite Diane.
It won’t go over well, but Ashley needs to hear it and maybe some shock therapy next to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is needed.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, July 24: Phyllis loses her witness
In a curious twist, Phyllis will run into a roadblock that will threaten her freedom when Tucker will overhear her talking about trying to get out from under his thumb.
Just like that, it looks like Phyllis’ only witness will disappear and she’s going to face the full force of Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell)’s prosecution assault for her crimes.
This is going to get ugly fast for Phyllis and it’s her own fault.
