While Jon Moxley tasted defeat at All In – he’s set for another big night at All Out. Set to challenge for the AEW International Championship, he has a chance for a tune up match tonight.
Facing down Komander, Moxley will be faced by someone looking for vengeance after he put Rey Fenix on the shelf. Komander has also yet to score that first signature win in AEW, and considering what Moxley went through at All In during Stadium Stampede – could be vulnerable tonight.
Jon Moxley Opens Dynamite With A Dominant Victory
Moxley would start fast with a running big boot, scoring a clean kick to the face of Komander. He’d drive Komander head first into the corner, before stomping on his head.
Finding his feet and picking up some speed, Komander would send Moxley to the floor with a flying headscissor takedown. Komander would hit a diving crossbody down to the floor, landing right on Moxley.
Back in the ring, Moxley would try to catch Komander on the top rope with a superplex, but was shoved off. Komander tried for the Cancun Tornado, but Moxley rolled out of the way – causing Komander to crash into the mat. Moxley would toss Komander with the X-Plex, before grabbing his wrists and stomping his head.
Komander found his footing and hit some fast kicks, before handing to the top rope. Coming down with the crossbody would see him caught by Moxley, and spun into a backbreaker for a two count. Komander was put in the Kimura Lock – but Moxley was unable to get the submission victory.
A powerbomb attempt from Moxley was turned into the facebuster – before Komander chose to stand and strike with Moxley. Clotheslines would follow, with Moxley standing tall before being dropped with the running elbow smash. Moxley was set up for the Rope Walk 450 Splash – but got his knees up to block.
King Kong Lariat and a Piledriver would follow for a near fall. Rear Naked Choke would be applied, and Komander kept fighting. Moxley would apply the armbar instead, and got the submission. This Sunday, he faces the winner of tonights main event – be that Orange Cassidy or Penta El Zero Miedo.
Young Bucks & FTR Have Each Others Respect
We’d see some backstage footage from All In – with FTR asking Young Bucks about the refusal for a handshake after the bell.
Young Bucks would admit things were very tense after their match – because they started All In, and to taste defeat infront of a huge crowd was a bitter feeling. However, FTR were the better men – and have The Young Bucks respect.
As they were shaking hands, Bullet Club Gold would hit the locker room – flying high after scoring victory over The Golden Elite.
While it was a slick roll up from the Don Callis aligned Konosuke Takeshita, but Bullet Club Gold did see that The Elite lost all their matches.
They would lay down a challenge for All Out, with FTR & Young Bucks ready to fight in an 8 man tag team match – taking on Jay White, Juice Robinson & The Gunns.
