Willow Nightingale was recently pulled into an issue involving TBS Champion Kris Statlander. Saving Statlander from several attacks from Mercedes Martinez & Diamante – Nightingale would end up in a tag team match alongside Statlander last week.
Martinez & Diamante managed to pull away with the victory, and tonight – Diamante looks to repeat that success with a singles match against Nightingale. While this didn’t start as her fight, it’s now important that Nightingale stands tall.
Willow Nightingale Scores A Big Singles Win
Diamante tried to get the early shot on Nightingale, only to be forced into the corner and stomped. A stalling vertical suplex in the middle of the ring got a near fall, before a swing out sidewalk slam in the middle of the ring. Diamante was sent to the floor, and Mercedes Martinez came to ringside to cheer on her ally.
Nightingale would be put in a sleeper hold in the ring, but was able to slam Diamante to the floor to break free. A scoop slam would be the set up for an Oklahoma Stampede. Diamante slipped off the shoulders and hit the Chop Block to the knee, cutting Nightingale down to size.
Cornering Nightingale, Diamante would hit some punches – and avoided a powerbomb attempt. Diamante would apply a Bow & Arrow Stretch, but Nightingale fought free. Spinebuster would land, and Nightingale looked to follow up with a dive off the top rope.
Diamante would trip up Nightingale before the running double knee strike and an Asai DDT – getting a two count. Nightingale got a brief opening, and Martinez would try to distract, only for Statlander to attack from behind. Back in the ring, Nightingale hit the Babe With The Powerbomb – and got the victory.
Miro Says Powerhouse Hobbs Will Pray To Him When All Out Is Through
Powerhouse Hobbs feels he’s on the road to redemption, and the way to do that is defeat The Redeemer himself – Miro.
Last week, Hobbs called Miro out and with some help from QTV, was able to leave him laying in the ring after a big spinebuster. Tonight, Hobbs will be in singles action as he begins to prepare for the showdown with Miro at All Out – and any momentum possible will be extremely important for Hobbs.
Kevin Ku was the opponent of Hobbs, and a local favorite. Hobbs didn’t care, and would drop Ku from the sky as he tried to jump onto Hobbs. A running body block in the corner would crush Ku, as Hobbs asked for The Redeemer to come to the ring. Hobbs hit a series of lariats, before the Last Will & Testament Spinebuster for the victory.
Sending a message to Miro, Hobbs would apply Game Over – and Miro came onto the screen. Miro says they have a lot in common, not just their muscles.
He used to follow a book and surround himself with distractions, but he’s a free man now. Even if his god ignores him, Miro is a dangerous man. Hobbs meanwhile will pray to Miro now.
