‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with plenty of fun spoilery goodies to share.
This episode looks like it’s going to be a fun one as we’re going to get some good comedic moments as well as tense drama. We’ve got the popcorn ready, so let’s dig into some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, August 17: Brook Lynn’s in over her head
In what’s got to be one of the more entertaining scenes of the year, as well as one of the worst ideas, Brook Lynn Quatermaine (Amanda Setton) is going to try to ply information from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) with alcohol.
While there is a chance this could work, Tracy will make Brook Lynn earn it by putting her through the wringer.
Tracy is one of those characters we love to watch but don’t want to know, and it looks like she’s going to kick up her obnoxiousness to a 13 to really test Brook Lynn’s luck.
If nothing else, Brook Lynn’s suffering will be comedy gold, but maybe Tracy will give her something she can use.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, August 17: Cody’s trying to get committed
In a bold move, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is risking his freedom and sanity by trying to get arrested and committed to Ferncliff after lashing our at Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
At least, that’s the popular opinion among fans and we agree, he can be wild at times, but he was extra fired up. Not that we blame him. How he hasn’t gone after her previously and for real is a testament to him.
“General Hospital” Spoilers think Mac Scorpio (John J. York) believed Cody when he started to rant and that’s part of the reason he came to defend him and inform Gladys if he’s arrested it’ll open an investigation into her as well.
Now that he and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampragna) have Cody alone, Cody will try to convince them he’s unstable but Dante will figure him out and call him on it.
This may be Cody’s best chance to come clean about everything he knows and avoid some serious jail time for being arrested being Selina Wu (Lydia Look)’s card shark.
We don’t think he will, but in general as fans we’d love for him to finally come forward. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) needs to stop being tortured. It’s a consensus among fans and most aren’t enjoying this, so it’s time to move on and let Gladys and her psycho doctor face the music for what they did.
Preferably at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)’s hands.
