‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s going to be a couple of good scenes in this episode that should prove interesting down the line, and then there’s Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) begging for forgiveness from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
This should be interesting. Let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 9: Bending the knee
It looks like Carly and Olivia are going to have a heart to heart about their friendship, and it brings up what looks to be either a lazily written bit or a choice of bad editing for the daily video spoilers.
In the video, Olivia’s going to ask Carly how she can offer something after the way Olivia treated her.
Hold up.
Carly was the aggressor and wanted her to walk out on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) over unproven allegations and Olivia dared to say no and that Carly was guilty, which she was.
Olivia did nothing wrong, but fast forward through Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) taking the fall for Carly, a family business being handed to her when she needed it instead of finding a new outlet, acting like a hypocrite queen again, and now this we have to wonder what the writers are thinking.
We’re hoping it was just a badly edited piece and not an effort to wash Carly’s hands clean of what she did, though “General Hospital” Spoilers are sure that’s coming since she always gets handed everything she wants.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 9: Fatherly love
With Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at his lowest, he’s going to look for the best way to get away from his family and friends so he’s not a burden on them.
To do that, we think he’s going to look into a facility or home outside of Port Charles.
The main problem with that plan is his dad will pay him a visit, and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is as stubborn and wise as they come, and he’ll work to convince Curtis that it’s a bad time to leave town.
Curtis won’t be much up for hearing it, but he won’t have much of a choice.
Marshall has shown an ability to get through to Curtis time and again, and though this time will be a little rough, we have no doubt he’ll convince Curtis to stay. It may not seem like much, but it’ll give his family a chance to help him.
Will Marshall convince Curtis to stay? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
