‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like we’re going to get a change up in the routine as the writers may be looking to redeem Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) after years of manipulating his children, but it’s making Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) look more sympathetic in doing so.
This should be a fun episode, to let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers August 16: At his wits end
It looks like Victor will finally reach the end of his rope with Adam and contemplate allow him to face the consequences of his actions. Basically something Victor hasn’t faced in quite some time.
How this will be handled should be fun to see play out, especially when Adam’s attempt to force a merger was actually good business, but because it’s him and his dad would rather throw money away to keep his children under his thumb, it’s a no go.
This feels like the writers are trying to redeem Victor by making Adam look far worse, but to “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers’ eyes, Adam is coming off as the sympathetic one here.
Especially when everyone will line up behind Victor to condemn Adam instead of thinking for themselves.
We think this would work out far better if Victor would actually be faced with the fallout of his actions instead of the ones where he gave Adam more chances than his other children, including manipulations.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers August 16: Kyle’s new side
It’s been an interesting relationship between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), and it looks like things are going to start getting serious between them.
This is a curious pairing since everything points to Audra only using him to advance her career, but there’s a chance they can be good for each other if they survive each other’s ambition.
And that’s where the seriousness comes into play as it looks like they won’t just talk about spending the whole night together, but continue working the system and destabilizing Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) so they can take over.
Guess they didn’t get the memo about Victor’s nepotism? Should be fun when they find out. Or could the show be planning to finally move on from Victor being in charge of everything and enjoy retirement?
