‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s going to be some fun twists coming our way in this episode, and we can’t wait to see how things will start to play out over the coming days.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 8: Phyllis sees the light
It looks like this storyline may finally be coming to a close with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) finally seeing the light and accepting Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell)’s offer with her lawyer present.
Of course, she won’t come to this decision herself as Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will be the one to give her the final push.
The two will sit down, and when Phyllis tries to explain how she’ll find a way to protect them both, Summer will finally have enough.
She’ll see Phyllis for the chaos bringing she is and “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect her to call Phyllis out on it. Hard.
She’ll rip into her mom and walk out on her in what will be the wake up call Phyllis needs before she further destroys everyone’s lives.
Of course, we think she’ll find a way to get off on the charges, probably with help from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) because why not? Can’t have a series regular pay for their crimes on this show.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 8: Abby with the plan
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is another one that’ll break away from her mom, but only slightly as she’ll deliver Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)’s wishes to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
She’ll tell him he’s invited to the wedding, but if he’s going to bring Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) then he’d better not show. She’ll also explain how Tucker’s not driving her mom and that Ashley’s hate for Diane is fueling her revenge.
It’ll be a shock to Jack, but Abby’s plan to have him and Ashley in a room alone to hash it out may be the bigger surprise.
He won’t think it’ll work at first, but Abby will keep pushing until he agrees to give it a shot.
Worst case scenario they kill each other, but we doubt it’ll go that far. This could be his last chance to meet his sister partway and save the family. If Ashley’s willing to listen.
