Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
Tonight looks like a fun one as we get to see the next chapter of the Bloodline Saga and whether it’ll be as redundant as Roman Reigns’ title matches ending with help or not, as well as Santos Escobar challenging Austin Theory for the Intercontinental Championship.
The table is set, so let’s get to the action!
Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka
Both looked to regain some momentum following their SummerSlam match, and they traded blows early on before Flair hit a shoulder block, but Asuka nailed her with a dropkick while Flair did a hand stand.

Asuka caught Flair going to the top rope with a body slam and hit a pair of dropkicks for a near pinfall.
Flair responded with a spear and went for a figure four, but Damage CTRL came out and distracted her for Asuka to attempt a roll up and then she hit Flair with a boot.
SKY took them both out with a dropkick over the top rope and she and Bayley beat them down as Bayley drove Flair into the turnbuckle and SKY threw Asuka into the ring post before standing tall in the ring.
Backstage, Santos Escobar gave an interview saying he has Theory’s number when Theory attacked him and slammed his leg in an equipment crate to take him out.
AJ Styles w/Michen vs. Karrion Kross w/Scarlett
Styles opened it up with a dropkick and ate a boot, but then kept working on wearing Kross down with a stretch hold.
Kross turned it around with some brutal offense, but Styles slipped under him off the top rope and clotheslined him to the floor.
Kross caught Styles off the apron and hit a Death Valley Driver on the announce desk.

Styles responded with a series of strikes to turn it around and went for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Kross caught him in a Kross Jacket.
Styles ran him into the turnbuckle to break the hold and hit a odd type of pile driver for a near pinfall. Style followed it with a 450 splash over the top rope, but Scarlett put Kross’ foot on the rope to save him.
She then decked Michin and Kross took advantage to nail Styles from behind and hit a suplex, but Styles hit a step up. Michen threw Scarlett over the announce table and Styles hit a Styles Clash for the win.
