Jay White & Dax Harwood have become very familiar with each other lately. FTR & Bullet Club Gold had one of the greatest tag team matches of the year with their Best Two Out Of Three Falls match – and tonight, they will meet in their first ever singles meeting.

White is an accomplished singles champion from New Japan Pro Wrestling, while Harwood mainly focuses on tag team action. However, Harwood remains one of the hardest hitting names in the ring – and could break down Switchblade just 24 hours ahead of their eight man tag team match at All Out.

Jay White Is 7-0 In AEW Singles Matches

White would force Harwood into the corner for a knife edge chop as the match began, before retreating to the safety of the outside – with Bullet Club Gold all there.

Back into the ring, White would get a side headlock takeover, with Harwood able to counter. He’d get a headlock of his own, and was shoved off to the ropes.

White caught him with a knee to the midsection, knocking the wind out of Harwood. He’d recover and get the Cobra Twist, and would use the ropes for extra leverage on White – never afraid to bend the rules. The referee caught on after the protests of Robinson, and White would hit the Half Hatch Suplex into the corner.

Harwood rolled to the floor, and The Gunns would be ready to attack – but Cash Wheeler grabbed a steel chair and drove them away.

Back in the ring, Dax The Axe & Switchblade traded chops, before Harwood sent White across the ring. A Stinger Splash missed, and White followed up with a snap DDT.

A near fall was all White found, before Harwood hit a Springboard Crossbody. The short arm lariat would follow, and Harwood would drag White to the top rope for a major superplex. This is the type of move that hurts both parties in equal measure, and White was able to take advantage with a Single Legged Boston Crab.

The Young Bucks Make Collision Debut

Harwood was able to break free, heading to the floor – and was driven into the barricade. White kept the pressure on in the ring with his chops, but Harwood fired back until taking the dropkick to the knee. A suplex would put White to the apron, and he’d slip to the floor to avoid more damage.

Harwood kept the high ground, and hit a German Suplex & Brainbuster for a near fall. The piledriver would again see White flee to the floor. On the apron, Harwood would chop White back into the ring. Uranage attempt from White was avoided, and a lariat would just anger Harwood.

Piledriver was countered into a Sunset Flip, but a ducked punch from Harwood left White in position to be spiked. A near fall followed, as close as White has come to being beat in AEW.

Another blast to the chest would follow, and a Slingshot Powerbomb allowed Harwood to go right into the Sharpshooter.

White slipped free, and nailed the Blade Runner – and moved his record to 8-0. After the bell, Cash Wheeler was corned and had to attack.

The music of The Young Bucks would hit – and they rushed the ring as they made their Collision debut. Bullet Club Gold scattered – and Young Bucks extended a handshake to FTR, but were left hanging.
