Nothing like some spoilers to get us ready for AEW Rampage. They can be a good thing since they’ll let us see what’s coming and help us decide if we want to see this or that match or the whole show.
Personally, I like them for those reasons and they’ve never bothered me when it comes to watching a show or game. If anything, they offer me the chance to understand how or why things unfold the way they do.
But they’re not for everyone. Many of us love to be surprised and the spontaneity of the moment is the best part. To each their own and hence why I’m dragging this out to give anyone that doesn’t want to know what happens time to exist this article.
Seriously, there are spoilers coming and this is your last chance to turn back before you know everything that’s going to happen.
This is your final warning. Turn back while you can.
No? Well alrighty then, let’s get to the spoiler goodies everyone wants to see!
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!
As is customary, AEW Rampage was taped after AEW Dynamite on Wednesday from the 1st Bank Center in Broomfied, CO and they’re curtesy of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (F4Wonline.com).
The Acclaimed (Max Caster, Anthony Bowens) and Billy Gunn defeated The Hardys (Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy) and Brother Zay to retain the AEW World Trios Championship.
Eddie Kingston defeated Rocky Romero to retain the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship.
Katsuyori Shibata came out to confront Kingston, which set up a match between them for the title and the ROH World Championship at WrestleDream pay-per-view this Sunday.
The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) defeated enhancement talents, and due to Adam Cole’s injury, The Righteous will face MJF in a two on one handicap match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at WrestleDream.
Hikaru Shida defeated Ruby Soho to get her shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship on October 10 at Dynamite Title Tuesday.
Overall it looks like a decent card as they’ll put some finishing touches on the WrestleDream pay-per-view and build AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday.
We’re curious about MJF and what he may have up his sleeve for the match. There’s little doubt he won’t have something planned, but it should be a great match.
What are your thoughts on the card and who will win at WrestleDream? Let us know in the comments below.
