Since they joined the main roster, Pretty Deadly, Kit Wilson and Elton Prince, have channeled something we don’t often see in wrestling and it’s made them fun to watch.
They’re meant to be an androgynous tag team and have the skill and charisma to really make an impact.
Jimmy Hart Wants to Manage WWE’s Pretty Deadly
On September 15’s edition of WWE Smackdown, we got to see them for one of the few times with Elton injured his shoulder after a bad landing with Ridge Holland, and they knocked it out of the park in their segment with Adam Pearce.
They’re so quick witted and their deliveries are so spot on it creates a frenetic energy about them, and that’s one of the things that recently caught the attention of a legendary manager.
The Mouth of the South wants in
“The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart was one of the top managers in the business and he’s got a long list of top names to his credit.
For some, he’s remembered for managing the Hart Foundation and The Honky Tonk Man and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, but most remember him for managing Hulk Hogan in WCW prior to Hogan turning heel as the leader of the nWo.
Jimmy could be heard at ringside with his mega phone as he’d give instructions and mock his team’s opponents, and even often times used his megaphone as a weapon.
It didn’t always work, but if you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying, right?
He recently appeared on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast and he talked about how Pretty Deadly caught his eye and that he would like to return to the WWE and manage them.
“Oh my God, there’s a new team that just came in with them. One of the kids got his shoulder hurt. He was formerly with NXT, and I wish I could think of their name. Deadly something right now — yeah, Pretty Deadly. I like those kids. You know why? Because they kind of remind me of my era. They talk big, they get knocked around but they’re colorful and they’re not real, real, big giant guys. I like them. I think they can really draw some big money. If I had the chance to do it again, that’s who I’d like to be with.”
We’d love to see Jimmy manage Pretty Deadly. We can just imagine their promos with him there to guide them and add to their gimmick. It’d be like old times.
