‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things in gear with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun episode as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will make his stance clear to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will play with fire by deceiving Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will look to find the truth behind it all.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September 7: Obey or else
Nikki is intent on Kyle getting back together with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier), so after she asks Kyle what he’s doing with his life she’ll demand to know about why he isn’t patching things up with Summer.
Kyle will be honest in explaining to her that Summer killed the trust in their marriage and he’s moved on. That won’t be good enough for Nikki as she’ll inform him that she told Audra to dump him to keep her job.
Never minding that’s illegal, she’ll tweak the terms and inform Kyle that if he and Audra continue their affair then they’re both out of a job.
This will be curious to see played out as Kyle will play his role by saying he and Audra are no more. And since he doesn’t have a position as yet but is still employed, he’s got a tenuous hold on things at best.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September 7: Not being deceived
While Kyle will be getting read the new riot act, Nate will have a chat with Audra over her keeping her job and he’ll be happy for her.
She’ll eventually tell him about Nikki’s terms of employment, and Nate will warn her not to play with fire as it could cost both of them their jobs.
He’s in an unsure position if Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) accepts the COO position with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and he’ll be put in a tough position if Audra gets caught.
So he’ll want to know for sure. He’ll follow her, and after catching her and Kyle together talking, he’ll confront her and warn her once more that she’s playing a dangerous game.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September 7: Billy takes charge
In one of the laziest writing moves of the year, Billy is taking over for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) as the main protagonist and even spout the same rhetoric she did about protecting Jack and Jabot from Diane.
On the plus side, it looks like Billy is having some doubts about his stance after he came clean with Jack and Diane, but that could also just be him reaffirming his beliefs.
