WWE Smackdown Results returned as Pretty Deadly paid Adam Pearce a visit and he told them they’ll be back in action in no time. Elton played up his injury and how he can hear this bones breaking.
Pearce asked him why he’s in a wheelchair when his shoulder is hurt, and Wilson stepped in to give Elton a pep talk and he was fully onboard with coming back soon.
Backstage, Bayley and Dakota Kai talked about their concern for IYO SKY rushing in to challenge Asuka, and Kai asked since Bayley’s been so distracted by Shotzi if she’s ready for Asuka.
Asuka vs. Bayley w/Dakota Kai
After a brief exchange to start, they traded holds and pin attempts, and Bayley used the ref to shield her so she could slam Asuka backwards onto the mat.
Asuka caught her with a right and then a missile dropkick to send Bayley to the floor.
Bayley ducked a running kick on the apron and took out Asuka’s feet and drove her into the ring post. Bayley kept after Asuka with a running knee for a near pinfall.

Asuka countered a sunset flip with an armbar that forced Bayley to roll her into a pin position to break the hold. Asuka caught her with a knee and kick for a near pinfall.
Asuka kept coming with an ankle lock, then a step up kick for a pin attempt.
They took it to the floor, but Shotzi appeared over the barricade and chased Bayley into the ring. Asuka came up behind her and sued a backslide to win.
After the match, Shotzi offered Asuka a fist bump, and after hesitating Asuka accepted it.
Cena gets an earful
Grayson Waller welcomed everyone to the Grayson Waller Effect and said he’s had all sort of people on his show, but one person fits all of those. After pointing out his career is receding faster than his hairline, he introduced Joh Cena.
Cena came out to a big pop like the Rock did, though not as loud. Waller told him it must be a dream to be on his show and added that his mom taught him to take his hate off when talking to grown ups.
Waller told him he needs to be more like him and sit back and let the stars shine.
Cena was about to say something when Waller called him out for making it about him as the special referee but he doesn’t want to be in the ring anymore.
He called Cena the greatest of all time but he’s not the greeted of all time and he hasn’t been the same since Theory beat him at WrestleMania.
Cena tossed his hat and shirt into the crowd, and Jimmy Uso came out.
Once Jimmy was in the ring and Cena stepped up to him, Jimmy slapped the mic out of his hand and told him no one wants to see him there and he told him that two weeks ago.
Styles to the rescue
Jimmy dared him to embarrass him like he did two weeks ago or get out of his ring, and that’s when Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman came out.
Solo walked by Jimmy and stood nose to nose with Cena, and while Jimmy taunted Cena, Solo grabbed him.
Solo readied the Samoan Spike but superkicked Cena instead and ignored Jimmy’s hand offered to beat down Cena.
Styles came out and went after Jimmy, and Ceana fired off on Solo and sent him to the floor.
Styles’ rocked Jimmy and Cena nailed a Five Knuckle Shuffler and Heyman sent Solo to save Jimmy and he did just that.

This was a fun show and the ending looks like Styles and Cena could be joining forces for the foreseeable future.
