King Charles III Rejects Prince Andrew’s £32,000 Spiritual Leader Request
Reports stress Andrew presented his expenditure request to the Privy Purse. Andrew has been a regular customer of the Indian spiritual leader for a few years.
The King, however, has informed his brother that he will need to cover the expenses for the guru’s services personally. The Prince is alleged to be receiving treatment for holistic therapy. Prior to her demise in September, the costs were taken care of by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
However, now the King is solely in charge of the approximately £24 million yearly earnings from the Duchy of Lancaster, which means he is in control of distributing funds.
According to an insider, the therapy is extremely pricey, and even though the deceased ruler was willing to support her son’s lavish lifestyle in the past, the current King is less willing to do so due to the high cost of living.
The source added that providing comprehensive treatment to non-working members of the royal family through the use of large amounts of money would not be well-received by families facing financial difficulties.
With that being said, the Prince is facing yet another humiliating situation as his expense claim has been turned down, and according to reports, he is contemplating giving an exclusive interview to share his perspective.
The response on social media was one of ridicule. A certain subset of people began to mock Andrew, and in the process, the comments were brutal indeed.
One person wrote: “Does yoga make him sweat?” while another person stated: “To be fair Andy needs to stay in top shape to keep up with the younger generation.”
