Royal expert Kinsey Schofield has revealed that Meghan Markle is not pleased with the Netflix docuseries that revolves around her and Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle Isn’t Happy With The Result Of Her Docuseries-Says Royal Expert Kinsey Schofield
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took part in the docuseries with Liz Garbus, a filmmaker who Meghan praised as a ‘seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired.’
Nevertheless, the royal further mentioned in a prior interview that the story was seen from a different point of view since Garbus was presiding over it.
In her comments, Kinsey said: “While I agree that they feel like telling their side of the story was important, I have heard that Meghan was not thrilled with the final edit.
“Expect ‘Spare,’ like the reality show, to lack detail. Full of filler, à la the bit about Harry losing his virginity to a ‘beautiful older woman.”
And yet, the memoir will provide Harry an opportunity to say things on his own terms. It has been billed as an unfiltered account of Harry’s time in the firm since he is no longer at the behest of the royals.
Having said that, though, the couple realise that they have to be wary of burning their bridges fully. In this way, they must ensure that they continue to keep disclosing things on their own terms.
Kinsey’s following comments confirmed as much: “Most people are noticing that while Harry and Meghan like to talk the two seem to lack substance and detail.
“All these media ventures – the book, the podcast, the reality show – are a way for Harry and Meghan to try to control the narrative.”
The social media response was damming. Large numbers of people made it clear that the enthusiasm towards the docuseries had died down following the initial enthusiasm.
One person wrote: “Nobody watched, its dropped out of Netflix top 10. The Yanks aren’t interested.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
